Year one took a school trip to ZSL Whipsnade zoo on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th October.
The children had a fantastic time and the weather was brilliant!
We saw lots of amazing animals and some that are in our book, The Leopard’s Drum!
By the end of the day, the children with memories that they will remember forever, were so tired they all had a nap on the coach on the way back to school!
Year One have been reading the story of ‘The Leopard’s Drum’ by Jessica Souhami.
This inspired us all to create beautiful African sunset silhouettes and here is the result!
‘It is so pretty, look at the colours’
‘I think its very hot there because the sun is big and bright’
Year One have been getting musical!
