So it’s nearly Remembrance Day and we thought we’d blog about what it is. Remembrance day is to remember the soldiers who not only fought for us in WW1 and WW2 but other wars as well! They fought for the safety of our country.
In our reading, we have been looking at diffe
rent texts about remembrance day and one we really liked was In Flander’s Fields’ . It is a poem by Lt Col John McCrae who was inspired by the sight of the poppies. It allowed us to think about the soldiers and the importance of remembering them. Here it is for you to read
